(910) 631-2292Our mission is to provide a safe, welcoming, and comfortable space for individuals seeking relief from extreme temperatures. Our Cooling Station offers a comfortable lounge with essential amenities, including television and microwave access.
Our mission is to provide safe, temporary shelter for individuals experiencing an emergency housing crisis, including those transitioning from incarceration, hospitalization, eviction, or other circumstances that leave them without a safe place to stay.
All guests must complete an intake process, with emergency stays limited to a maximum of seven days. During this time, our sister agency, Because We Care II, Inc., will provide support and referrals to help individuals secure safe, stable, and more permanent housing.
